Hey fellows! 8)
I've been pondering something lately and would love to get your thoughts: Do you think the classic designs of vintage race suits have influenced the gear we use in R/C racing today? I'm fascinated by how certain elements from historical racewear seem to persist, while others have evolved with time. As someone who appreciates the blend of tradition and innovation, I'm curious to hear your perspectives. How do you see the old-school designs meshing with today's technology in our race suits?

Welcome!

So it seems like the standard racer has been able to maintain the standard attire that allows for focus on the task of racing.

.
However the nitro racer has had to stay with a more purpose built outfit that has slightly less comfort.

Lotta dudes with GoPro's strapped to their domes out there now. POV stuff. Drones and stuff. As far as clothing? There might be more of a synthetic fiber count in some of the T-shirts? I know the pastel OP corduroy short shorts aren't "cool" anymore. Not alot of mid-calf gold-toe socks with sandals. A Members Only jacket with a pair of aviators and some open knuckle driving gloves would make my day. Only with a dual stick transmitter and neck lanyard though. Or a Big Johnson T-shirt.

I watched a couple of seasons of EFRA recently, and it was rare to see a driver NOT wearing a black hoodie.
