Practicing some space themes on lexan

I have a handful of bodies to paint. One or two I’m thinking of doing a space theme.

Here is my first attempt. I just cannot seem to capture a good picture of it. It’s incredibly metallic. I threw a penny and a quarter on for my planets, and even though the paint bleed looks intentional, I’ll use round stickers next time. And less webbing.

Woke up kind of excited to make art

Spraying Kyrlon clear polyurethane first and putting non polycarb paint colors over it makes cool effects. I’ll be testing the durability by bending different dried paints sandwiched between the urethane on the plastic.

Last one playing around. I was hoping a fingerprint through a glove looked like a crater

Now it’s time to paint my protoform VRS-n

Should I put the included protoform stickers on it? Or some custom old school associated ones?

Awesome! You got good at making planets quick! 👍

Tough call on the decals... Depends on how big they are against the body, but I generally like the look of Associated's logo over PROTOform's.
