AYK Pro Radiant Ad

In 1989 AYK debuted the Pro Radiant, a 1/10th 4wd buggy as a successor to the 1987 released Radiant. Changes included fiberglass vertical chassis plates replacing the previously used aluminum plates. Movement of the motor from a rear mounted to a mid-mounted position. Redesigned aluminum bodied oil-filled shocks and fiberglass shock towers. Bright orange double A-arm front and A-arm/link rear suspensions. Optional one-way drive system for forward only operation. And a new more aerodynamic body featuring a chassis mounted wing.
