Reedy Ti Modified Motors

In 2001 Reedy would bring the Ti series touring car modified motors to market. Named after the titanium finish applied to the outside, inside the 1.4mm motor can with its revised venting the Ti contained the latest C4 magnets surrounding a new 5mm armature, hand wound in either a single or “Millennium Double” (one large gauge, one small gauge) configuration, rotating on dual ball bearings. The endbell was redesigned for increased cooling and to take advantage of an improved vibration dampening system to hold the upright Quasar Competition brushes true to the comm. Anodized brush heatsinks, color coded to indicate polarity, and presoldered capacitors rounded out the motors, which were available in 13 different configurations:
