stealth tranny mounting

I have been collecting parts for a gold pan resto (shelf queen) and would like to put a stealth tranny in it. I have the goldpan car, and the stealth tranny is on its way. Does someone make a template to drill a 6 gear chassis for a stealth? Will I have to get another motor plate to fit the stealth, or is the bolt pattern the same?
any help would be appreciated.

If you have a nice A stamped chassis, I wouldn't drill it for the Stealth, but then you do what floats your boat right? So, AE did make a drill template that you can find from time to time on Ebay, but if you have an extra chassis that is already drilled for a Stealth, then bolt it on the other and it will just work as fine as a genuine Template. As to the motor plate, drill pattern is the same, but there is an extra hole in the Stealth motor plate, you can obviously use Stealth motor plate on a 6-gear tranny one without mod, in the opposite case you'll have to drill that hole... Hope this helps

The chassis I have was not that nice, I have stripped it and prepped it for re-anodizing. I do not have another chassis to bolt up. Does anybody have a scale template in jpg or other form?

I have one of those templates if you want to borrow it. Trust me... DO NOT try to drill it by eye... they NEVER come out straight
As far as what they go for... i remember seeing one not too long ago go for over 10 on ebay There's a post for it buried somewhere on this site.
