Does anyone know what this body is? I have not been able to identify yet. It was part of a hopped up RC10 Team Car I bought from someone on FB Marketplace. He built the car up in the early 90's. A lot of RPM upgrades, including the worlds front end. I think the faux air flow vents on the rear are pretty cool.

Sweet body. I imagine that buggy had Raborn sliders and rear arms.

Just when I thought I was getting knowledgable about this hobby, then I read @jcwrks post and had no idea what a Raborn slider was. A little forum searching and googling and now I know more that I did this morning!

Unfortunately no Raborn products on this car that I know of. Most of the car upgrades were RPM. The dogbones are interesting. I think maybe they are Race Prep? The ends are steel (magnetic) but the shafts are stainless or titanium (non-magnetic). Also, the ends are rotated 90 degrees relative to each other. I find this strange. That design would be very bad in a u-joint drive shaft. I wonder if there was some perceived advantage to this setup, or if it was just to differentiate them?
