In 1990 Team Losi released the JRx Pro, an updated version of their National Championship winning JRx2 1/10th 2wd electric off-road buggy. An evolutionary step in the buggy's development the new Pro model was an amalgamation of a JRx2 and all the "Pro Conversion" parts Team Losi had created for it. This included using the JRxT's extended graphite chassis with molded in 30-degree kickup, longer a-arms and turnbuckle camber link front suspension with new spindle carriers and shorter steering rack with rigid bellcranks and Kimbrough servo saver up front. Out back the suspension was all-new and featured a lower h-arm and turnbuckle camber link design with updated rear hub carriers. Longer anodized aluminum oil-filled coilovers with adjustable collars were used at all four corners in conjunction with taller graphite shock towers front and rear. The ball-diff equipped, 48-pitch transmission received a new nickel-plated steel top gear and beveled spur gear while retaining the universal joint driveshafts to output power. Team Losi Logo dish wheels were shod in Staggered Rib front tires and X-Pattern rear tires all riding on a full set of bearings. The unassembled kit also featured a new longer clear lexan body and was sold without electronics or a radio:
