Hey I am brand new to this forum but I have been In the RC hobby for 2 years I race a modified Traxxas shash 2WD for NASCAR at BigO RC Speedway. I have stopped racing there recently because I am going to try to make an RC top fuel dragster and I was going to go and get traxxas funny car but it's too expensive and I am broke so I am going to cut a chassis out of steel with a plasma cutter. Do you guys have any ideas of what I can go to make it better?

Just some info the grey thing at the back is a titan 12t 550 motor with transmission.
The blue thing is a XL-5 ESC.
The black small thing is a TQi receiver.
And the big black box is a traxxas 3s lipo 5000mah.

Hello and welcome! Looks like you're off to a great start. Just be mindful though that this site is for vintage R/C models primarily from the '70s, '80s, and '90s.

it’s cool that you are building this. You can get some good ideas from AE’s DR10 and some of the other drag kits. Also, look at the setup sheets so you know what needs to be adjustable (Gearing, Diff Viscosity, Weight distribution, Wheelie bar height, etc…). I bought my son a DR10 last year, and we race whenever we get a chance. Both are basically stock, so results are more drive dependent. Keep us posted on the progress.
