In 1994 Team Losi replaced their 1/10 2wd LX-T electric stadium truck with the all new XXT. The "Double-X T" was based off Losi's new XX buggy but carries with it many stadium truck specific changes, starting with the XXT's 3-piece molded composite plastic "G-Tunnel" chassis with raised side pods which was .375 inches longer than the XX buggy chassis but .5 inches shorter than the outgoing LX-T, it featured a hinged front bulkhead with chassis reinforcing upper brace that rotated out of the way for servicing and a bolt on pivot plate in the rear. Wider in track than the LX-T however, the longer a-arm and adjustable camber link suspension up front was also fitted with new spindles and carriers. Steering was via a turnbuckle adjustable bellcrank system with built in servo saver and Ackerman adjustable drag link. Out back a wider h-arm and turnbuckle camber link suspension attached to the truck's rear pivot plate along with the rear bulkhead, transmission and rear shock tower, the latter of which was a composite plastic piece as was the front shock tower and both supported Hard Body, teflon coated, oil-filled aluminum coilovers with adjustable collars. The transmission, which was removeable for service, was Losi's new laydown, ball diff equipped, 2.61, 3-gear design outfitted with their Hydra-Drive traction control system. Steel universal style axles output power to standard Dirt Shield rear wheels with Step Pin tires while the front received new higher offset Dirt Shield wheels with HT Ribbed tires. Full bearings and a new clear lexan stadium truck body topped the kit off which was sold unassembled less radio and electronics, though the truck was also available as an unassembled kit with a motor, speed controller and bushings, less radio, and as an unassembled kit with bushings, less radio and electronics.
