Normal engine sound?

Could be anything, hard to tell from that vid. Bad bearing?

Too hard to tell from the video, maybe a damaged/missing con rod bushing, or the head is loose.

Well it does seem to be most occurring near that TDC transition....but, yeah hard to tell exactly what's going on there.

Any way to capture/stop the piston and wiggle the crank/isolate the rattle?

But do we agree that sound is not normal? Cuz, I know exactly "jack" about model engines, past the universal stuff that applies to all piston driven ICEs.

After watching and listening intently to the video, my guess is either the connecting rod bushing is missing or something is going on in the wrist pin area.
