RC-10T (Vintage)

My original RC-10T hasn't been driven or used in a well over a decade and a half and its time to go ahead and let it go to someone who will breath new life and let this thing tear around a track again.
Attached are photos of the truck. Its old school and will come with everything you see in the photos.
So, I'm giving this away for free, as I have no idea about the state of the electronics. Shocks will probably need new gaskets, and new oil, but thats it. My only request is that the truck go to someone willing to run it again, and _not_ strip it for parts.
This is for local pickup only in the Atlanta, GA area. I'm not shipping it. I could get this back up and running on my own, but I just don't have the time anymore and would rather this go to someone who wants to get it going.
Mods, apologize if wrong forum...just wanted this to go to the vintage community.

Wow! Beautiful truck! I've been looking for a 10T to run at my local track. Too bad I'm all the way across the country

Normally this wouldn't be allowed outside of the Buy/Sell/Trade section but since you're not actually selling anything, and it's for pickup only, It can be allowed.
The only problem is though that new members aren't allowed to use the PM system, so it can't be used to make arrangements.

Nice 7001 kit right there. The front tires on the rear is a nice touch.

Chris VanAir @vanair is interested, he is at a race this weekend but he isn't too far from you in Marietta. It will definitely get used, he is known for racing his vintage 10t a couple years back at a major race and wining against modern trucks. I'll have him chime in when he can answer to get ahold of you.

I appreciate that. I'm in the Kennesaw area.
As much as I don't want to let it go, its been gathering dust and sitting still for just too long.
I may get into the RC scene at some point down the road, but not anytime soon.

Tell me somebody got this thing! Really nice gesture with the offer-up. First time ever wishing I was near Atlanta.

Man if I was in Atlanta I'd be all over this. Sadly I'm not. Surprised no one has gotten it yet.

If Chris doesn't contact you, I'm on the southside and always looking for excuses to make a trip to the HobbyTown up there.

This is a very generous offer. I need to find an excuse to visit Atlanta.
