I sold a GPM version on eBay a month or two ago. GPM makes them in galss beaded finish in natural silver or blue, but for the B4 Stealth. They are like $25 new. This one looks similar... do we know for a fact that this is an original Stealth? Looks newer to me.
Custom Works (oval) is now making CNC machined Delrin cases for the B3 gearbox, too. Really nice and very perfect. No mold defects at all. Very slick.
Never seen anything in aluminum for the early Stealth tranny—not even in the dirt oval world.

Sure looks like the original Stealth to me. I've never seen an original Stealth tranny in aluminum before either. I'm scouring the internet and finding nothing.

it was pretty sure that auction would make a lot of noise on our beloved forum, well it did

though it remains a big mistery, WHO did that

maybe we should call CSI, investigate the prints on it... serioulsly, Melvin, first thing you could do is asking the seller where he bought it

sounds more easier

this is the GPM tranny for the B4/T4, quite similar in the design...

I thought it was a GPM tranny at first (don't worry I'm not interested) and could have sworn I've seen others on ebay before however I did quite a number of searches and couldn't find a pic of a similar looking tranny other than the one posted by asso_man

Check out Klien motorsports, they made tranny cases like that back in the day.

Dennis makes some pretty sweet RC10GT aluminum tranny cases right now, too... I used one in my nitro sprint car when I was still racing gas cars.

I could be all messed up in my thinking, but that looks like a gt tranny. The output shaft is out the wrong side. If that tranny was turned so the slant was to the rear like a rc10t the shaft would be out the left side. like I said, maybe i'm missing something.
