This is a very old project started on March 2010, many pics!!!

XRAY T1M (T1 mini - M-chassis)

I feld in love with this chassis after a descriptive post from a member on an other Rc Vintage forum.

This tiny chassis is quite rare, it also take me long tie to find some orginals XRAY option parts.

By the way, it was difficult to choose a cool body for it an my love for Lightning/Flash McQueen get over evry bodies i looked ;)

An other problem was to fit body of Flash Mc Queen toy on the right wheelbase of the Xray chassis.

Cutting, adjusting, gluing, bonding, sanding was very long...

Since Novembre 2017, this chassis still waiting for my motivation to finish after finding XRAY option parts.

More pictures and explanations on the original post on the French forum rc-vintage.com

Awesome job! Any reason not to paint it like the original Lightning McQueen? If you're just not wanting to go all the way down that road, I would think maybe like a '58 or so Vette may fit that body style.

I see some similarity to a Toyota 2000 GT in the body shape.

Yes, that was an option with another one. ;)

Difficult to choose!
