I decided to put together a setup sheet for Brian's winning setup. Keep in mind this is going off of info he shared with the press back in the day, some info may not be 100% but is as close as I could dig up, so far. Note that the sheet shows the Worlds Car shock towers, while he didn't use these towers the holes in the positions shown actually line up with his custom towers.

Im pretty sure he ran 25 degree castor blocks not 15 degree.

The only straight on picture I have is from the later reedy race in Japan and those appear to be 15deg. I assumed he would have kept that from the Basildon setup but there is the possibility he didn't. I'm not 100% sure but I'll look into it more.

See in this photo the castor block is laying back to far to be a 15 degree.

Looks like a scrutineering sticker next to the switch? From later RCCA car. Is that a wax stamp, or lead or something? Or am I hallucinating again? From Associated video.

Not so sure about that. That angle is hard to judge from the perspective but looks like it's titled more forward than the 25deg block i have if I hold it up the same way as shown. From my point of view the easiest give away is where the steering arm sits in relation to the suspension arm. I'll order some 15deg blocks and see how each looks.

yeah that thing I'm not exactly sure what the hell it is, looks like a candy, but a scrutineering stamp makes more sense and tracks with the Japanese article on the car from the Reedy Race. I'll update and get rid of the candy note in a bit lol.

Was his servo not mounted with posts? Doesn't appear so. That's one thing I don't have to buy lol.

Yeah he had it glued down and the ears trimmed a bit. Its also more forward than it would be if it used posts, nearly touching the nose plate. I want to know what that servo arm is though.

Let me start by saying it doesn't look shiny like the Kimbrough, but there were not a lot of good options for plain horns on those days. My money would be on a Kimbrough that was shaped. Other than that, it was mostly aircraft arms and I can't think of any that had that shape.

He might have used shoe-goo to glue the servo to the chassis. I know lots of guys did that back then. Really strong stuff, but had enough give to not pop the servo off from big jump landings.

Servo horn could have been an airtronics sail winch horn that was customized and re-shaped. There were white and black plastic versions.

Yup still use Shoe goo for some things. My servo in the JRX-Pro SE is shoe gooed, stuff works great. It does look like Brian may have gone a little over zealous in his application though.

Absolutely great stuff. I always have a tube of it in the pit box.

This is Masami's JMRCA winning car from 1993. It was also used at the 1993 Worlds the race prior to it. I don't know why Brian's looks that way in the pic, but it should just be an orange sticker.
