Ok guys I finally got time to take pictures of the T2 I was building. I added new stainless screws, titanium turnbuckles, and some purple rpm stuff to brighten it up, crp bumper, hpi wheels, and proline tires. Haven't painted the body yet still working on a design for it. Hope you like it. :)

Thats pretty slick!! I hope I can work on my T soon.

Dont want to be a "Negative Nelly", but I guess youve noticed the Drivers Side Rear Tire is on backwards.

Nope I sure didn't. They aren't glued on so I can fix that. I just threw them on and took some pictures.

Noony to answer your question, yes I did and I hated every minute of it. The paint was supposed to be an anodized look, in person it does sort of look like that, but the top coat(purple) didn't go on very well. I had to strip the damn thing 3 times. I gave up for a month or two and then went back to it. I used a different spray tip off a primer can and it came out much better. The next time I change the color on a chasis Im paying the powdercoater 50.00 to powdercoat it!

What did you end up doing to mount the front rims? The truck looks great by the way! :)

I used the rear hex adapter and drilled the hole bigger so the rim could spin smoother and put the nut on. This truck was going to be a runner but don't know if it will last that way. Only one way to find out!

Absolutely love the way that turned out. I'm also an HPI fan ( mostly of the older nitro touring cars), so this is a very comfortable look for me. HPI scorches, right?

Negative Nelly here again. I dont think that will last too long, or run very well. It'd be easy to get some sort of Touring Car Front Hub Carriers and stick on there, or, dare I say, Rustler Front Hubs.

great color, I actually thought it was anodized by bad boyz (I think that was their name), a company back in the 90's that did this color and had an ad with the B2 chassis in it

awesome!

Well I can tell U that it won't really last.

What you can do is replace the front hubs and hub carriers with any 4wd parts that have as little offset as possible. But bearrings in the hubs, add fitting axles and hexadapters abd voilá you got a losi xx style front setup that can take rear wheels. I don't know it the Losi XX front setup might even be a direct fit.

I did the same thing on my first Traxxas Eagle where I HAD to run HPI Truck SS in the rear and HPI Buggy (rear rims) SS in the front. It actually worked out pretty good.

Hope this helps.

Sweet T2 BTW.
