I finally obtained a Andy's chassis, though not totally complete, but in pristine condition

it also came with a spare rear bulkhead and 2 additionnal rear arms

I already build the front end with a graphite shock tower (Lyte speed?) that replaces the missing Andy's one. The specific steering is also missing so I've chosen
a spare aluminium Losi steering rack and add a RPM center link, here's the result

they don't seem to pop-up very often, personally I've never seen one on Ebay, at least not in this shape, all my parts are brand new
I'm going to track the front and rear shock towers, the battery cup and the so special steering rack... if someone has one of those Andy's parts, I could consider swapping my spare parts (rear arms, mountings and bulkhead)

If I knew they were so rare I wouldn't have hacked my NIB one up to make a chassis for my sprint car.

I mounted the rear shocks today, and there's a deal there, since I am missing the Andy's shock towers, I decided to use stock ones (at least in their shape

) the fornt one is ok but the rear one is too low by half an nch or so and the rear shocks can't travel the right way... seems like I'll have to make a custom one or find the one that originally came with the kit

anyway, it will never run, but I like when they could take the track at any moment... I'll post some pics tomorrow (GMT + 1 here

) stay tuned guys
Oh, of course another solution, though more expensive, would be to use some shorter shocks (front truck ones for example)

I decided to install the MIP tranny in a chassis that really deserves it
The white brace should be soon replaced by a black one to make it more harmonious...

I had to cut the stock battery cup to adapt it to the recessed chassis:
