MY RC10 RUNNER- NEW PICS

Ok, this is my first RC10 runner in 12 years, I use to race RC10s in the 90’s and the last runner after my Team car was a B2 and the last truck was a RC10T, like 3 years ago (it’s getting retuned at the moment).
I am currently working on the paint job for this one; it will be a Pro Tech body with a modernized old school paint job (still working on it).

This car has custom crafter G-10 shock towers, Carbon fiber tranny brace and battery strap. I also made the front skid plate. The front shocks are RC10T front with 1 spacer inside and regular rear shocks in the back with 2.5 spacers inside. Some of the updated parts are B4 front steering carriers and axels and the rear CVD axels.

Running this in the patio took me back to the good old racing days and after I get the body painted I am going to the local track to run and probable later, after I get some good batteries, RACE DAY. 8)

Have a good evening people.
Let me know what you think.

sweet!
Guess the body is going to get siebenelched judging by the gap down the middle of the rear shock tower? :D

Thanks guys, the body might be get some siebenelched treatment, but I wont be able to lower it to much because the speed controller need the heat sinks on it will hit the body.

I will work on it during the week and paint the next weekend.

Sweet lookin' ride you have there!! I've got a similar runner build in the works, but I'm doing the chassis in the same flourecent green as the nose plate. :D Your pics have me all pumped up to finish it now!

I like that green accent, maybe you could run a green pin-stripe on the tub sidewalls or top too?

It looks like a potent car with the right mods to modernize it.
I hope you're a better driver than me and'll do well with it at the track.

QUESTION…

As you see I am running a Novak 410-Hpc with a Orion Core stock motor. I am planning to run GP 3300 6 cells pack. The motor has a lot of punch so what would be a good combination of Spur and pinion for this set up? I am also running a B4 slipper clutch.

The track I will ride is a blue groove short track with some big jumps.
thanks.

VERY nicely done. I hope to get one of these wrecks I got off of ebay to that spec. Love it!

I love the 410 HPc. The best speedo I've ever used that doesn't have one-touch setup. With 3300's (and higher) along a brushed motor, I'd start with 81/19 or around a 9.5 final ratio and go up or down a tooth depending on how the car feels.
