Custom G-10 RC10T runner

Ok, this is my old RC10T that I made some custom G-10 and CF parts for and finally got some time to put it together.
It has hand crafter G-10 chassis and towers and CF chassis braces and tranny brace. I made the chassis with some option for servo and battery position so I can play with it during set up. This chassis was going to be originally for a RC10 car but I think I am going to make a different one for it, so I built my truck with this one.
Still have to make some part like nose tubes and the rear chassis motor plate part. I hope to get to this tomorrow. I will post more pics.
It is almost to nice to run, but this is going to be my truck runner, Let me know what you think.

That's what I was going to ask...where do you get the white fiberglass? I have the black sheets, but I need some of the white for my next build.

Its G-10/Fr4 Garolite 1/8”thick from McMaster-Carr. I am also using a black one for a future build and they have 3 different finishes (high-gloss, semi-gloss and mat) on the black one but they don’t say it in the web page. It’s a good material to work with, it is solid but make sure you work on a well vented space. I work outside on a nice day.

Are those Tecnacraft turnbuckles?
I see that there are quite a lot of threads showing so I wonder what model they are for.
I have a 10T set that I just put on my truck I'm building and there are almost no threads showing so if those are regular RC10 that you used, I have another set of Tec RC10T buckles and would like to trade for a set for my gold pan buggy.
I also have another set for a 10T2 which is available in case siomeone else has the RC10 ti-rods.
PM if interested.
Awsome build you have going there. Great craftsmanship keep it up and take lots of pictures and keep us up to date.
Thanks

Yep they are Tecnacraft turnbuckles for the RC10T, I have had them for ever when I got my 10T back in 1993. These are made to use with the older small ball cups not the more recent RC10T3 ball cups. Mine don’t show almost any threads either.
These are some pic after more adds, I will take some better ones later outside.
Thanks for the comments.

Hi mate, is the chassis stong enough without an upper deck ??......... seems that the weakess point will be in the middle of the car......

OK, I see what you mean, sorry didn't mean to hijack your thread, also wasn't aware of the difference in the 10t Tecnacraft version's and I did have to use the large AE ti-rod ends. This package I have comes with its own RPM ends but they are grey and I didn't like the look.
Still want to trade a set for the regular rc10 ti-rods if anybody is interested.
Thanks for the update and pictures.

Thanks for the comments guys. Minimini, the chassis is plenty strong, imagine the flex on a plane CF chassis without an upper deck, this is similar, this one might be stronger.
i will keep you updated one i start running it.

and I guess a little flex is good for traction! G10 is hard to break compared to graphite anyway. I love the custom look btw

you made a fantastic job on this one, especially when considering you don't have access to pro tools! I would just dye the chassis black, now it looks like a open diaper (sorry for the comparison, I have a boy coming soon

)
