Hi,

I'm restoring a YZ-10 WCS (Pavidis) which came with white battery strap posts. I've also got a second WCS which came with black battery posts, and I've seen 1993 YZ-10's which have white rear posts and black fronts! Any one know which combination (if any ) is correct for a 1995 YZ-10 Pavidis?

they are all black on mine and it's totally stock...

99% sure the pavidis was black.. I'll need to check my old ads though..

add another for black battery posts.

Cheers for the answers. I've just checked some old magazines and it was the 1993 YZ-10 with the white glass fibre towers which seem to have white rears with black fronts

Cheers for the photo Cedric. Am I right in thinking the carbon fibre brace for the steering is an upgrade for the Pavidis, not standard?

After looking at your car I have a new question...... my car has a black plastic cap/brace across the layshaft bearings whilst yours has white!! Which is original?

I love those yellow wheel stickers - to me they are a Yokomo 1990's design signature. Can they still be found anywhere or does someone do repro's? (I'm assuming they are a sticker??)

The carbon brace for the steering is certainly an upgrade, the plastic cap/brace across the layshaft bearings is indeed supposed to be black and Cedric's car is also missing the little carbon brace that bolts on the top deck... I think Cédric built his Yokie based on a 93 Works and just swapped all the necessary parts to make a Pavidis edition

Here's mine for a comparison, totally stock besides one or two screws and tires off course.

Yes I upgrade a standard YZ10, but I follow evrything from the original Pavidis edition from screw to Air scoop special body!
I'm sure my spur gear and wing mount are the right one ...
I have more original Yokomo options, look the titanium turnbuckles !
About the small little carbon brace that bolts on the top deck, Yes I miss, but just because I have not, if somebody could help me !
I have some extra wheels dot, in different colors !
David, if you need, I think to have some extra tires like on mine !
I'm not sure if the layshaft cover come black ! I'm pretty sure that's originally white !

After some research I'm pretty sure the motor mount cap should be black. This is because the original (but poor condition) car I'm restoring had a black one (although the middle has been cut out) and this ties up with Asso_man's 100% unmolested car.
Also see this picture.....although this YZ-10 appears to have the white battery posts which is what confused me in the first place!
