Is it possible to build Masami's 89 dogfighter?

Probably the one car I'd love to own which I dont know enough about. I vaguely understand the early Yoke's but I was wondering if Masami's 89' Worlds car is made up of standard Yoke items or have there been too many custom bits like his 2WD car to replicate?

Hi bormac, i am also on this path - i just posted one of my YZ-870C runners in the non-RC10 forum. Mine is quite standard, with asso shocks, 2,2 wheels and jammin top deck. If you want to get close to the real deal, the main specialities might be the custom made chassis, shock towers and rear wishbones. There are quite good scans of that in the scans department. Coming to the wheels, you need the rare "deeper" rear 2,2 ones, not the ones used on the later yoke's (not pictured on my cars, but i also have them).

That would be me!
First pair of arms are fitted, a few little tweeks and I will begin semi-production of them soon and they will be for sale in a few weeks time.
These are cnc'd from natural Nylon66

Looking good buddy, where did you get the arms from, are they available?
How's the 89 coming along now since your last post?

What uprights, bearings, and CVJ's are you using?

I'm waiting on delivery of my chassis, mounts set..

All the best.
