What's on the table? Current Projects.....

OK, I know that my effort will be pointless

, but I posted this in the hopes to get a couple people off my back and also just to start a thread about what current projects are. Jason/David/Anthony, note the top right corner!!!!!!! GET OFF ME!

Current focus is getting my 1st Gen Losi stuff completed. One Proformance, one Pro/Proformance hybrid, and my full tilt X2. I think I have hit a road block on the X2. I know what I want to complete it, just finding them will be the problem....... Robinson rear arms.
Let's see what you all have these days in progress or soon to be completed.

what? top right corner? that one doesn't count.
you need to build an
RC10 without a t, gt, t2, t3, t4, b2, b3, b4, l, lss, lso, l2, l3, l4, tc3, tc4, tc5, or any other variation behind it.
RC10 followed by c.e., team car, or worlds is fine though.

Absolutely nothing!!!
I'm moving next weekend, so everything I own is packed up.
But, when I am all moved in, it's time to build some Vintage Natsmobiles. I'm planning a gold tub buggy and some kind of stadium truck.

Hey Jay, nice workbench you have there, but it seems I can't find any RC10 on there, must be a long time since you saw your last one
Anyway, it's not because your car has gold shocks that it is called a '10

Here are my latest projects.
First, I found this JRXT buried on a shelf at a local hobby shop for $20. I had one of these bitd which i built but never ran, probably due to the leaky shocks. It ended up just sitting until I sold it a few years later.

The day after I picked it up, I found another lhs with all the parts I needed to restore it.

Losi's sure seem alot quicker to tear down than RC10s. Also easier to clean too.
Only problem, was I estimated use was minimal based on chassis wear and the overall condition. Once I opened the gearbox I noticed that the diff lube used by the prev owner was actually a thick sticky red grease. The grease must have chemically reacted mixed with heat and fused the diff balls into the diff gear.

The other gears are shot too. It was the one part I failed to think about replacing. Go figure.
I also have my Runner project, which I am trying to convince myself it was one of Kinwalds cars, due to how the nose plate has been shaped....

Anyways, I plan on reshaping (Seibenelch style) the tub once I find a belt sander, adding a stealth w/B4 topshaft, B4 FT threaded shocks, new carbon WC repro shock towers front and rear, B2 MIP CVDs, B2 wheels, Spectrum DX2.0 or 3.0 controller, LRP Pro Reverse Quantum 7T Speed Control, plus one beater Reedy modified MR.L or MR. Y(reconditioned w/ new springs and brushes)

That diff gear doesn't look like a chemical reaction. That's what those losi diffs were famous for doing if you had them set too loose. I have a collection of lrm gears from the days before the slipper clutch

landing strip! I thought we were talking about something else for a minute
