that seems to be a nicely prepared runner, congrats mate! PS: the rear turnbuckles seem a bit too long?

Thanks ASSO. I havent even bolted rims to it yet so when they go on I'll make the necassary camber adjustments. Remember that this car has been converted from a Pro which I think the link is wider in the rear with the H arms. The body shell and chassis plate were from Australian Andrew Nelsons 89 worlds car Im sure.

I've always loved the look of this buggy and would love to know how the multi-link rear suspension compares to today's buggies. Jason - I know you're going to run this car

Any chance of a write up on how it goes once you've raced it?
Cheers,
Ian

Nice Car the XX wheels fit the rear and if you drill out the lower hinge pin on the XX carriers and use the spindles you can run the XX wheels all around thats what I did anyway. I have some if you need them also.

Thanks for the great comments guys. I still own 3 XXX BK2 buggies and recently sold off all my XX cars too. Not that there is anything wrong with these cars ( they are great) but I wanted the car that started it all. I know the X2 is a shorter whel base but from what i hear the X2 5 link rear end really holds on. I actually converted the front over to carry the XXX front spindles and I even cut sections out of the white disk rims to give it the spoke effect. The rims turned out great and the fronts fit but the rears are completely the wrong offset. Ive heard that duratrax rims fit so I will try these next.
Besides here in Australia vintage racing is considered anything pre 1990 and the X2 easily makes it in.

the XXX rims wont work but the XX will they dont have the offset the duratrax is just a copy of the XX anyway so they do work also

That's a nice looking JRX-2 you have there bormac.
The (electric) Duratrax Evader BX rims should fit it nicely I would say.
On the back of my Evader BX Pro, I'm running a set of old Trinity 2.2" rims which were designed for the Losi JRX Pro/SE. The old Trinity rims are a lot stronger than the evader ones I have found. The evader ones tend to crack/chip around the outside rim bead.

Now I finaly have managed to fit some Duratrax rims to my JRX2 I am thinking about taking her for a run around the historical 89 WORLD's St Ives track. I wish I had this sorted sooner as I could have had it out last weekend but its better late then never.
