I will be watching this one, I am a big fan of the king cab/hilux. Where did you find that body if you don't mind me asking. I used to see them pop up from a seller in Australia I think from time to time, but havn't seen one in a while. Looks better than I was imagining, look well detailed like the og. Nice build!

I've got one from the guy down under. If you don't want to wait and/or pay a pretty penny for a Tamiya original, it is the next best thing. You can't really even notice the difference. They are done very well. I would recommend it.

I have one too.

One almost complete (I think it needs a dogbone) the other is mainly parts. 2 bodies both painted. Its stashed away for now. no space to really work on projects, but i hope to soon.

Fakiee nice project Sir 8) what are you going to do to eliminate the slipping issue of the Astute ball diff :?: It won't be too bad if you never intend running anything hotter than standard motors but if you want to go modified at any point I see it causing problems :wink:
