I will be watching this one, I am a big fan of the king cab/hilux. Where did you find that body if you don't mind me asking. I used to see them pop up from a seller in Australia I think from time to time, but havn't seen one in a while. Looks better than I was imagining, look well detailed like the og. Nice build!

I've got one from the guy down under. If you don't want to wait and/or pay a pretty penny for a Tamiya original, it is the next best thing. You can't really even notice the difference. They are done very well. I would recommend it.

I have one too.
One almost complete (I think it needs a dogbone) the other is mainly parts. 2 bodies both painted. Its stashed away for now. no space to really work on projects, but i hope to soon.

what are you going to do to eliminate the slipping issue of the Astute ball diff

It won't be too bad if you never intend running anything hotter than standard motors but if you want to go modified at any point I see it causing problems
