Helle there!
Last weekend we had the last german regional race this year.
I was driving my RC10 in 2WD and my new Yokomo Works 91 S.P.O.R.T. in the 4WD class.
Sebastian was not driving his RC10. He drove a Kyosho Ultima RB5 and a Predator X11 in the classes. What a shame! Haha!
Saturday was a little rainy. So we had to whole race-day for cleaning the cars after each run.
My old cow was - fast. Maybe too much power inside for best laptimes, but so much fun to drive!
My result was the 4. place after all. not bad. Sebastians non-vintage-Kyosho was much easier to drive and had no traction-roll problems, like me. He could make the 2. place and was superfast. Congrats Seb! But he had several problems with the dust and dirt on the track and broken parts.
Sunday was 4WD. My Yokomo was very easy to drive and the handling was very well on the very rough track. The only problem was dirt inside the differentials and a little understeering. I had to wrench the diff after each run. Was a little frustrating for me.
Sebastian drove a Predator X11 and everybody says, the car is crap. But Sebastian surprised all with excellent laptimes and he could make the 3. place after all.
After all the diff-wrenching I found no time to glue new tires and take a look for a better set-up. So I made the 10. place of all.
The race was pure fun for me! Great weekend! I can´t get enough!
After comming home, I could watch the Soccer Euro-Cup Final. Germany lost the final against Spain. No problem for me. Hehe!
