well, saw the other post, thought I would show off a bit. Keep in mind I just got it finished, and am in the process of unboxing and trying to sort through crap I havn't seen in a few years due to not having any place to work on things. Well, more like throwing everything in the floor and looking at all my junk. I still have several boxes to bring down out of the attic, but this is what I have got so far. I live up to my name once again, enjoy!

junk sounds too negative, try "scratch-building material"
I could have a couple years of fun with all the porject material on display only already.
Make sure you enjoy it!

yes, could use some organization! Lack of a/c up there is what is killing progress right now. I am wanting to pick up one of those portable inroom units. I am just happy to see it all again.

That monster is a yankee predator. Kind of has a long story. I don't live in a highly r/c populated area, there were a few hobby shops/tracks local around 15 years ago. One of the hobby shop owners, had this thing, It is absoluty hideous, but it is 1/4 or 1/5 scale, and came to the tune of $2500

I'd never seen it run, just sat behind the counter and he bragged about how fast it was. The hobby shop closed down, fast foward probably 13 years. A guy comes by my house saying he has a buddy wanting to sell some stuff, I attract these kind of people for some reason. He says there is some huge gas car, had a purple body with yellow wheels. I knew exactly what it was. The car is pretty much trashed, needs to be completely gone through, and even when done is ugly as sin. I have had it started and running, but thats about it. It is a French company, and from what I understand everything is still available but extremely expensive. I have tossed around selling it, because I just don't know if I like it enough for sentimental reasons, or parting it out and buying a 5b. The dang steering servo is a real wierd unit that is around $300 so I have been told
Here is a pic of what one should look like

This is my favorite line "You don't run the ones you got"

Just tell her that you'll have plenty of room once you toss out all that sCRAPbooking stuff of hers that she never uses.

That doesn't go over very well, I have tried.
