Very cool, Thanks!
I believe Tony Neisinger also experimented with the 5 link on a 4wd. Not sure, but I thought it was a Yokomo???

Now I know what I should have done with my ultima pro chassis
I bet I'll be a couple parts short though

It may have failed for very different reasons than performance.
For starters, the design is cool but has very little commercial foundation.

Well, I just opened the small box I keep for imperial stuff, and remembered I sold every 5-link part I had in a bulk deal to one of the members here.
My mid will have to continue it's life with lazer suspension parts I guess

The five link setup was actually pretty common when it first came out. I remember seeing a schumacher cat with that conversion.

I wonder if I could piece together a XX4 with a 5-link rear end? I have a spare beat up chassis I can start measuring things up with.
I dont want to use my NIP 5 link kit though....off to ebay to search...
