New guy to the forums. Need some Losi help please.

Name is Jon. I have been into R/C for over 20 years. I started with a JRX2, T, and later LXT conversion. I was out for a while and got back into it last year. My new found love is in Rock Crawling. I have built a 2.2 comp rig that is just incredible. SO, why am I here? Well, as a complete Losi devotee I am in search of some JRX2 and JRXT kits and bodies. A buddy from Losi said that I should come here and ask around. I know I am not AE but I hope to find some answers here. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

What I have:
Parts for an incomplete JRX2
Parts for an Incomplete JRXT
Complete LXT because of conversion
Schumacher Cougar 2 works.
Mini Z fully modded
xxxNT RTR
Axial Scorpion with about $2300 in mods.
And a pain for my first two rigs again.

What I am after:
NIB JRX2
NIB JRXT
JRXT unpainted body
JRX2 unpainted body

Most importantly I am looking for a lead on any of this. My Losi buddies have a couple of things, but apparently it will cost some coin. I am not opposed to throwing some good money down, but I am not to be taken. I really need to find someone who can help me as I am after these kits. I just hope I can find them.

Thanks for letting me hang here and post up even though it is not AE related.

Jon

Welcome aboard!

NIB losi kits pop up on ebay somewhat regularly. Right now most of the original kits are listed except for the 2 you are after
Original unpainted bodies are hard to some by. I've seen 2 jrx-T bodies in the last 3 years, I got outbid(125-ish iirc) on the first one, and paid just over 100 for the more recent one.
Jrx-2 bodies also come up occasionally, but more importantly, a member here is doing a reproduction run of these which will make them accessable/affordable.
post up some of your project cars, and have fun.

Well, I am out of the running for a NIB of either now as I cannot justify paying near $1000 for a rc I will open. I am looking for a rebuild now. Does anyone know of where to get NIB parts for these vehicles? I see some on the bay but I am sure that there are a few here who have some stock?

Thanks guys.

we have an awesome buy/sell section where members list parts quite often, but you gotta play by the rules to get access.
