My stock gold tub ebay gamble... and payoff!

Here are some pics from a recent auction win I got. It was a gamble with the pictures being a little distant, but it paid off well. After tearing the car down it appears to have been run once or twice and then put away and forgotten about. It cleaned up way better than I had expected.

nice car, great clean up.
Somewhere out there is a pack of gremlins with a stash of 100's of white battery straps.
They have a cousin that eats losi straps too

Thanks guys! I was probably bidding up against some of you too!

It ended up going for $110 so it was a good score considering how well it cleaned up. It's going on the shelf so I don't mind it being a bushing car. It'll be completely stock with similar paint to the box car but with different colors. 1/4th and the last of my RC10 collection. Pics of my Siebenelch car should be coming soon too.

If you've got a couple to spare, I'd be interested.

Love the outdoor pictures as the lighting seems really good. Great shots, shows it off well.

Very very nice Keith, good price and amazing cleaning job. This is actually the first time I see these tires with an AE logo on them, they must be pretty rare and it looks like they came with the kit... but who knows?

I actually found a set NIP just like Keith has on his car. It was a scary ordeal, cause temple actually learned something that he didn't know..... imagine that

Yes, they have the AE logo in the tire molding, but I have no idea if they came with the kit or were aftermarket. I can only assume that with the limited runs that this kit had that the tires came with it.

It's funny you mention that Al.

If you notice that most of my pictures are at dusk or slightly before. I honestly don't do it for any kind of artistic effect or anything, it's just due to the time when I get home from work and am in the mood to take some photos I'm scrambling for everything to get some outdoor shots cause indoor photos look horrible without any kind of light booth. I do like how it looks though now that you mention it. It doesn't show off how white the parts are (basically as white as you can get without being NIP) though.
