Ok, I have a new body commin for the 2. Someday I will get a T and this should be the same.

I was looking over my 2 manual and the paint scheme on the cover is different than the box art. Since the box art is the version released was the manual paint job just a production pic?

Either way, what are the colors on the car? I know I can't chip the paint codes and get them right. But if I want to reproduce the box art in 2008, what would I use to get a match? I know Faskolor is a great paint and I am sure I could mix to my hearts desire. In fact, I do not have any great high-res pics of the box if anyone does by chance. I would appreciate that a lot.

Is there a color name for the red or orange or......

Thanks again guys - love this forum!

Jon

was there anything available then for lexan other than pactra?
That's all I ever used until 2000'ish.

I am pretty sure Pactra was it. But I like to airbrush and I think I could mix these colors. Hell, maybe I should make a "Team Losi JR Series Reproduction Paint Kit" after I get it right.

I was just hoping that someone had a clue as to what the colors were called.

Hey Aconsola - you have any high-res box art for the 2/T?

i'd be willing to bet that it was pactra. most likely sprint white, competition orange, and racing red.

you can airbrush pactra paints, too.

box pics for the x2 are on their way to you.
As for the xT, I'm still looking for one of those.

Parma made lacquer lexan paint in the 80s (not FasKolor) and many body painters also used auto lacquers. There were Tamiya paints, too.

Niether, I'm looking for an empty JRX-T kit box to put a jrx-t into.
I have all of the NIP parts to build a jrx-T(with minimal mods), but it is all in a jrx-pro box for now. I consider building it occasionally, but it takes up less storage space unbuilt.

Funny, I have a JRXT box, but no body to put on it.
