looks like a xx-cr and a xxt-cr, both look to be race vehicles BITD with the ti turnbuckles and hydradrive on both, I can't remember if the CR's came with titanium turnbuckles and I can't see clearly in the pics but it looks like the buggy has shiny cvd's or losi aluminum universals. Nice cars!

I agree with Mark nice cars the XX series of cars are very hard to tell apart I have one I still cant find the proper manual for it. their very nice cars but they dont seem to have a very big parts supply floating around. I find it harder to find parts for it than, my Jrx Pro

Nice pair, look to be in quite good shape, including the tires. Did you get bodies? The buggy bod is still available.

Can’t be positive, but it sure looks like the buggy has the rear arm modification to move the lower shock position out. The original XX arms had a loop around the lower shock end like on the front, with 3 holes. The hot set up for many tracks was to cut the loop off and add a fourth hole farther out. Another indication that these were racers.

I thought the Velcro battery straps were original XX/XXT stuff, battery bars were CR stuff for both? Didn’t the Losi battery bar go to a center post in the front? But then both appear to have some of the blue Kinwald Edition hardware. Ah, nevermind, I agree with Rickster, hard to tell apart.

The white 5 spoke buggy rims are definitely not early XX. They were originally much like the trucks, yellow with lexan covers. Not sure if the 5s are XX CR or XX KE.

Oh Rick, I have a XX buggy manual that you can have a copy/scan of if you like. Or are you just looking for your own original?

Hey Rick, there is a button on your keyboard, two the left of the right lower Shift Button. It has a little dot on it called a "period", kinda looks like this . . . . . . . and it is used to separate sentences. You ought think about using it sometime. It really works great.

An easy way to tell if they are the "cr" version or not is view the rear end from the bottom. If they are the "cr" version, the arm mounts bolt onto the rear T plate. If they are the original verisons, the arms mounts are part of the T plate.

Also for the truck, the "cr" version came with a rear shock tower that had 2 sets of mounting positions, "upper" and "lower", I always ran the upper set of holes, giving the truck just a bit more down-travel in the shocks.

I miss my XXT-CR, maybe I will have to build another one... 8)
