Found this lurking in a box with a few other bits of aluminum goodness. I have not one clue. Made by See's BTW, if you had to ask.
The top 2 are the same, a front side and back side, bottom 2 same way.

Sorry, I should have put something in there to show the size of 'em. The adapter lookin things are approx 1 5/8" diameter while the caps are 7/8" diameter. Defo not for clod wheels. Too large.

Would Wild Willy 1 front bearings fit inside those adapters? That's what I first thought of, but the 5 bolt pattern threw me off....

Did other buggies use those giant bearings inside the front wheels?

I am not sure. I don't see that any standard size bearings would fit in these.... At least nothing that Tamiya or Kyosho would use. It almost looks like 1/8 scale size, but there is no drive hex machined into it or anything....

brandon, i'm 99.9% sure they're for a 1/4 car. in my spring '90 "stock car" rcca issue, there's a 1/4 scale car with a set of sees rims. the center caps look just like the ones you pictured. there's no good pics of the adapters, but they look to be the same.
