Well folks,here's the result of stripping three JRX2's and building one car out of the best parts.
New in packet parts are arriving almost daily and are being added as they arrive.
Many thanks to Mr. Marui Hunter 73 for inspiration and parts!
Can't wait for the new wheels...The wheels pictured on the car in these photos were painted black,so I removed the paint with acetone on a Q Tip.

See a servo, are you planning on putting the rest of the running gear in?

Looks great! depending on the paint soak the wheels in Cartrol Super Clean for a couple of days, it should take off the rest of the paint, and really shine up the wheels.

Thanks for the tip regarding the wheels.
I got the last of the black off the front wheel with acetone.
I don't think I'll run this one-I'm going to build a runner out of all of the parts I have left over.
I'm adding new parts to this car as they arrive,just replaced the side rear suspension links with newbies and some new wheels will be here,soon.
I've even inspired a Tamiya only friend of mine to restore an early Losi with this car
