I'm going to convert my JRX Pro into a JRXT-What parts will I need?
I've got a spare 5-Link suspension setup and a rear shock tower-What else am I going to need?

What you need depends on what you want to accomplish.
To make a generic "truck" out of a pro all you really need is front and rear body mounts, truck wheels/tires, and a truck body.
To make a truck that is exactly like a JRX-T as it came out of the box you will need the above plus:
Standard jrx-2 rear shock tower, without the shock tower spacer, and with the shocks mounted on the front of the tower instead of the rear
Long(.9") shocks for rear(pro comes with XL/1.2")
Suspension links, side bulkhead, rear hub carrier, lower shock mounts, and rear hinge pin carrier(the pin carrier that sits under the gearbox is different for the 5-link and h-arm setups)
Lexan dirt shields for chassis
and if you really want to nit-pick you would want to ditch the bright red antenna mount, spur gear, and steering bellcranks in favor of the black versions.
did I miss anything?

if you want to get really, really picky...the original jrxt came with the white bell cranks. They were similar to the black jrx2, but the white ones were suppose to be "heavy duty" to handle the truck wheels and tires.
Another thinkg would be the rear springs. The xt came with the black progressive springs.

Am I right in thinking that the T didn't use wider suspension arms?!
Crikey.
I think I'm gonna go ahead, buy the parts and do the conversion.
The Pro is just sitting on the shelf, yet another 2WD buggy and I only have one truck,my RC10 T2.
Wish I could find a new JRX2 body...And a JRXT,for that matter

Yes, they are the same arms. The wheels both front and rear had a lot of offset molded into them to made it wider.

Thanks for that,bngiles!
I think I'll convert a spare XX CR I have into a XXT,while I'm at it.
That one will take a few more parts to build, but hey,at least XX era parts are cheap as dirt.
