Finally got with it and found a rear bulkhead, and new body mounts to finish her off. The chassis was a runner, more like a drifter, and the body is HPI, always had a soft spot for that particular one. Ended up fitting the wheelbase on the DS perfectly. This car also has the touring car wheel/tire conversion on it.

Anyway, tell me what ya think!

looks good, what did you use to convert to touring car wheels? was there a conversion kit for this?

Actually, I bought the car with all the parts on it. Mostly HPI and, dare I say it, Traxxas parts. Associated has a instruction as to what parts you need on their website. When I find it I will post it.

I did this to one of my Street Sports, with Traxxas Parts. But I wish there was some way to use AE Parts of some make or model?? Any ideas, Anyone???

Looks good Brandon, I dug a pair of shells out the other day, got a NIB Mustang and Race truck both with decals, and a Merc DTM, nearly a full option set

I think that would look better at my house I think we should work something out!!

Man,I bought a brand new Dual Sport,back in 98? for US$60 new,in box,from a local hobby shop that wanted rid of.
I sure wish I'd kept that car,everytime I see a Dual Sport,I well up with tears...I sold it,complete as a running car for US$50

I love that body do they still make it?? did it come with the decals or is that horse paint?

Gotta love the DS, last whisper of our good old RC10 tub Nice specimen you got there, will it be (again) a runner?

All you need to paint this body is black and white paint. Oh yeah, lotta of patience with the decals too. Took forever...

Well worth it!! It looks great I still want it?? hint hint
