Do MIP shocks shafts for Losi shocks "work" with Associated shocks? I don't know if the shaft diameters and piston attachment methods are the same.
Also, did MIP make suspension hinge pins back in the day?

as long as they're for the associated shocks, they'll work the same as the stock shafts do (piston, e-clips).

The main difference between the losi and AE shafts is the thread size. The AE shafts taper down to a 4-40 thread, while the losi are larger, 5-40 I think.
The lengths are slightly different between the 2 which is not so much of an issue as you can simply use internal/external limiters if they are too long.
On the few that I sampled just now, the piston fitting space was the same between both stock ae and losi.

I'm not sure if you're interested or not, but MIP titanium nitride coated shock shafts and the blue siliicone o-ring seals are still available for the associated trucks and buggies. I recently got a set of the shafts for my 10T on ebay.
Worse comes to worse. I guess you could just drill out the bottom shaft fitting a bit prior to threading them to accept the larger shafts.
