I think I want a Losi Mini crawler....

For some strange reason this is really calling out to me to purchase. It's 80$ more than a 1/18th scale Mini LST2 (A Main pricing), but I still want one. I want to climb the dog when he is sleeping in my office during the day. Maybe put my Leopard Gecko in a box and take him for a ride.

Cool video I just love watching....

With some simple mods for little to no money the MRC can crawl very well! That portion of our comps has grown exponentially because it is a drivers class. No digs are allowed. I am trying to save my pennies for one.

In march the Losi 2.2 roller comes out with worm drive axles! That one is gonna be hot.

Any links for the MRC? I am a losi fan however.....

NM...I'm thinking of MRC as the company...not the abbreviation for Mini Rock Crawler...

AWESOME!! Nothing better than not having to pack your gear somewhere to play. I've know some guys that have landscaped their yards for the wife, yet still incorporated plenty of things that they could crawl on without damaging the environment and pissing off the wife.

Looks like someone has a new toy they're hoping Santa will bring.

If I can get the wife to the hobby shop. In time for X-mas. If they have one in stock. If...

Else I got 55$ in credit at A Main hobbies from previous purchases......

I have not seen any for sale used on eBay at all....it is still fairly new on the market.

Hopefully the price will come down in the future.....it is priced way higher than most of the 2.4Ghz 1/18th Losi's....prob due to all new pats design and molds required for this vehicle. It shares very little with other vehicles....

Slider, Late model, Mini-T all share 80% of the parts.....so do the Mini LST2, Raminator, Rammunition .. etc

I'm sure when\if I get one the price will drop 50$ a few days later

Sure, look here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=152

Tons of info and tricks on how to make them better. I absolutely love them! Some parts are guaranteed to break like the shock caps and the plastic lockers but Losi has upgrades now. Get the softer compound tires as well as tons of weight up front. Drop the battery on the lower links and put esc on the other links. So on and so on.....

Read up, you can never learn too much. Be careful though, when it strikes it strikes. Soon you will be going to comps and then upgrading to the 2.2 class, lol.
