Pin Cushions for MIP cvds in 10T

What pin cushions are recommended for use with MIP cvds in a 10T?

I want to minimize wear on the outdrives, especially considering that the outdrives may become discontinued in the future.

Has anyone managed to wear out some original old outdrives anyway? They seem to be more durable than old ones. My T2 has done more running than most cars and the out drives are barely worn. I even made new driveshafts with high speed steel pins and the pins wore out  However my T3's outdrives are stuffed.

The outdrives that came with my 10T do show some wear, and the ones from my newly-retired Team Car are worn and chipped from hard bashing.

Since I cannot afford to buy a bunch of sets of spare outdrives, I'm going to pick up a set each of the Kimbrough and IRS pin cushions and try 'em out.

Would a set of pin cushions for a B2/B3/T3 work in some MIP 1/4" cvds in my 10T?

that's a setup issue. it happens when the uptravel of the shock isn't stopped before the dogbone/cvd binds in the outdrive. the bone works it's way into the slot in the outdrive, and chips the corners off.
