Newbie questions about detailing Associated Pro Buggy body

Hi guys -- I have a couple of noob questions (searches did not yield info.):

1. Do the Associated Pro Buggy Bodies sold at Tower include window masks? If not, do you guys just use the old fashioned tape method? I'm amazed at the intricate detail some of you achieve when painting around the windows, such as narrow trim, etc. I'm assuming you can't buy window masks separately for these bodies?

2. I was a Tamiya guy growing up, so I'm not sure the techniques used for this, but how do you paint the molded in window netting that is found on these bodies? I've seen the netting painted (don't think it was a decal) on a couple of ebay models and I've also seen the side windows cut out in favor of actual netting material.

3. I guess you have to be creative with decals since there doesn't seem to be repos available?

Thanks in advance for any information. If there's a painting tip web site for older Associated bodies, please let me know!

Steve

You can use a small brush or a paint pen (or a sharpie, cough, cough) to make the netting.

Tamiya still sells the netting if you prefer the real look.

Decals can be very hard to come by. Ask around in here if there is something in specific you need. May get lucky. Otherwise, search the bay, or dig through some of the old stuff piles at your LHS. Might get lucky there too.
