Sad news indeed, Chris Chianelli has passed on. On January 20, 2009 he passed away in his sleep of unknown causes at that time. He will be missed by the RC community.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

WOW!! What a shock! Chris was indeed a major component of RC when I was growing up. RCCA was the magazine to have back then and I enjoyed watching his show on TV.

I was surprised to see him in DIY channel. I'm guessing that the original taping for the show was from a few years ago because he was demo car was an Inferno MP 7.5

That's very sad, and vey un-expected. He was with RCCA for a long time right? "Chris' Back Lot" was always one of favorite things to read. Didn't he have a new tv show coming out that was supposed to start soon?
