X2. I spent more piecing one together and still have some used parts and no body. Offer him $600 for it. You really are not getting screwed and he will feel like he is not either.

At Least 500 would still be a deal. If you can find a body alone, the last one I got out bid on I quit bidding at 135. Plus a NIP chassis is at least 75. I have almost 500 in mine and it still has the wrong body. I gave up I dont even look anymore, their just to expensive. if I were to do it again I would find a NIP one for sure. start adding up all of the shipping fees alone I bet I spent 200.

how much did he pay for it? does he know what it could get on ebay? has he seen the ending prices of ones that have sold on there? there's no sense in offering him $5-600 if he's only looking to get $300 because he doesn't know any better. start at $200 and go up from there.

Go find the guy with 100$ bills ready.....give him 2-3 of those.....cash waved in face is a good motivator to sell.

ok, i'll start offering cash and see where he goes, i think 5-600 would be the most id want to pay.
one question, on a kit like this should i leave it in the box or build it and display? I know it will be worth more to leave it unbuilt but what fun is it to look at a box, lol. If i did build it i would do it like the box art. Man id be afraid of screwing up the paint on something like that.
