Hello I am new to this fantastic board. I have found a ton of useful information and lose the subforums for the different makes of all the old school cars. I do have a question though; what makes a care a "works" car? I have seen this in many posts and was just curious as to what it is...sorry for the newbish question.

Been busy this weekend so thought I would post up pictures of my new built Bosscat works. All parts are new, shell was masked by me but sprayed by airheadgraphics.

"Works" was a label on several buggys. It's like "Special Edition"... not sure if it meant the buggy came "with the works" as in everything was upgraded?? That's what I always thought...
Schumacher had several: Cougar 2 Works

Bosscat too (thus CATS' post).
Yokomo did a few if I recall.
Welcome to the forums!

I had a "works" pizza for dinner. Pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, olives. MMMM, delicious.

"Works" typically means a factory special. More an English term than American.
