MIP RC10 Goodness

Since I opened my yap asking/hoping to see more custom builds, I figured I'd lead by example and post up something in progress.
Here's my in progress-forever MIP chain drive conversion. It just takes forever to find all the parts to make a complete kit. The chassis and such are not perfect as I used some rough parts to do a mock-up. Plus, I don't have a perfect chassis or noseplate! On top of the chain drive conversion, I've added MIP's trailing arms, shock bodies, rear axles and slipper clutch. I have a template for the correct rear shock tower, just need to cut one out. More to do ... chain's too tight, steering needs to be completed ... you get the idea!
So where's the custom part ... well, I'm not totally sure myself! I am considering a vintage rally car. The body is a Parma I think (sticker kinda gives that away!). If it looks like it was painted by a 12yr old, it was! Apparently my sense of color matching wasn't too good back then. It was painted by hand (and not very well) but ... I see that some of the blue is flaking so I may be able to strip it and repaint!
