Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents on this one. I raced a 1/12 Bandito for Bolink back in the day. The only Bolink body I could get The Bandito to handle with was the BL-2050 Ferrari 312 Open Sports. Other team guys had good luck with Bolink Schkee. The only other Bolink bodies that I remember guys running on a Bandito were the BL-2075 Porsche 917K or the BL-2094 March 82G GTP. Hope this helps.

RACER484:
How did this car handle? Was it good or not? Especially when there is quite a sort of complicated suspension system in this car.

The Bandito handled pretty well when it was set-up properly. It was pretty forgiving and less twitchy than say a Super-Phaser. The front suspension worked fine and didn't need much maintenance, it was similar to the Schumacher B car front set up. In my opinion the problem with the car was, unless you drove it perfectly clean it would tweak easily. I can remember it holding a tweak from just clipping a dot. There were too many screws holding the tray to the chassis. They seemed to shift, making the chassis twist then hold that tweaked position.

It looks very industrial with the chrome wheels and no tires.

Are the wheels some of the Steve Rule closeout items? They do look a little too modern for the chassis, they are very 12L like. Shouldn't it have the black wheels with Road Hugger tires?
Still an outstanding car.

Yeah just threw em on for the pics there ae 12l wheels the road huggers are going to pretty hard to find. i do have some new 12e rims that might work. I like the whole no foam look it gives it that museum look

The chrome Paragon dish wheels would look pretty good on that.
