I was wondering if anyone knew what this car is. The tires and differential/axle are from my 12LW just to get it on wheels.
For the life of me, I haven't been able to find any information about this car.

Thanks. It confused me a little because the chassis doesn't look much like my other 12i. At least I know what it is. :D

Might be a Composite Craft chassis and radio tray or some other make but those parts don't look like AE but the rest is RC12i. Temple will have to give an opinion on this one.

That was my assumption, that the fiberglass (garolite?) parts were aftermarket.
Much deeper green, and the configuration is different. I just had no idea if it was an experiment, or a manufacturer using AE parts.

Hey Guys,

I can confirm that this is a 1/12 Bolink Renegade circa 1983-84. This is the model before the Bandito. Here's a pic of another more complete one.

Thank you!!
I have had this car for years, and now finally know what it is.
Now I can remove the "Unknown" tag from it and give it a proper name. Thanks. :D

I know this is a very old thread. But; I am restoring a Renegade for my father for Christmas. I'm looking for parts. I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of a good place to find some original parts(besides eBay). Again I apologize for digging up an old thread, but; I was surprised when I found this in a search. Thought you might be able to Dir_wolf. Thnx!

Old is the key word as Dir_wolf has not visited this forum since Feb 2013. Maybe you could show us what parts you are after, someone else might be able to help you.

Hrrm? I'm going to post ics in the thread I've got started. But; as I'm finding out as this progresses, they might even be parts i thought they were or are. With help I know they are not Bolink. But; after finding good era pics of Associated, I not sure they are them either.I'll get the pics posted over at the "Other Makes" thread asap. We'll go from there I guess.
