When i send a PM it sometimes stays in my outbox for several minutes?

it stays there until the person you sent it to reads it.

If it makes you feel any better, there are two that have been in mine since Dec, one on the 3rd and one on the 6th, and are still there. But I do/did know why they have been there that long.
