1. I finally got some Diamond Shaped Wing Buttons, but Ive read about Large, and Small ones. Tell me how to figure out which I have, and which is Older.

2. I have #6183 Wing, is that Proper for an Edinger?

3. What kind of Wire do I need for it? Can I pick up something locally (I assume it needs to be "Springy"/have "shape memory"), or do I need to find one Purpose Made?

The wing wire is piano wire about .060 to .065 thickness. I believe that is the correct wing it should be about 4 1/2" wide. As far as the diamond shape wing buttons the early Edinger used the small and they were not any bigger than the AE tear drops. Somebody else will correct me if this is wrong but it is what I've seen.

the larger diamond mounts aren't for the buggies. they were for the 1/8 scale cars. i've never had either one, so i can't tell you the difference in sizes. but i'd have to say the small one would be about the size of a dime.

the correct wing would ba a 6184.

just get some .064 (i think) music wire and bend your own.

the small ones use a 4-40 set screw, these use like a 6-32 i think, much larger screw
