are any new bearings "bad"??

im building a stealth car out of new parts ..i found a good deal on bearings from hong kong on ebay.. did anyone here have any problems with cheaper bearings in transmissions?i use these kind of bearings in my tamiya kits and they have been good.. i was thinking it was like skateboard bearings.. the cheap bearings held up just as well as the high dollor ones.. the high dollor bearings were just smoother and eaiser to roll.. just wanted to know what people thought before i build the trans...

i don't think any new bearings are bad. i would check these guys out
http://www.avidrc.com/ i get all my bearings from there and at $1 a bearing you can't go wrong :mrgreen:

avidrc is good for low volumes. I use VXB on ebay when buying in bulk-- I have bought a few hundred 5x11 and 5x8 for my Tamiyas. You can get them for less than 70 cents each shipped when you buy 100. ;)
