while doing some r&d in the beat lab today i notice that while running my mamba max 6900kv in my rc10 buggy with rpm truck trans the diff got to feeling a bit funny so i took it apart and examined it, i found that the diff balls got so hot they actually melted into the diff gear!!! see pic

i run my diffs tight and have not had a prob..sure its not as smooth but it still works..the way a.e. tells you to set it is smooth. but they only had brushed motors running 1700 nicads back then..all the power of your brushless you may have to make it tighter.. i dont run brushless or lipo but i have run 14.4 volts in rcs before and all that power can turn a reliable rc into an rc that cant stay together...

You may want to try setting your punch control at 100%. It helps for smooth take-offs and will take some of the strain off the drivetrain. Hah! I'm a friggin' poet!
