Wanted to start a post for them.

I need a inner body set (upper).
I am sure there is a good demand for the hpi rs4 rally inner bodyset. They have been discontinued for years. Problem is that you cant run the rally in dirt without it. I never see them on Ebay. Heck, I would settle for one without driver figures.
Sorry don't want to turn this into a request post.. Just wanted to put it out there.

I think I might actually have one of those. I think I kept one for a possible future project.

Do you make the molds direct from the original bodies?
I understand if you don’t want to give away your trade secrets but I have always been fascinated by this.
I would love to see a few pics of the process.

Yes, and the type of mold made, unfortunately destroys the body. Not ideal, but they mold will last longer than you and I will.

Those HPI's have been going up in price on ebay.

Picked up a used inner on E-bay. Paid too much Has a big hole in it But it works for now.
It's a runner and super fun (orion 12x2).
