Since the beginning of the race. Even on the 'NASCARP hiatus' while they were broadcasting Sebring online.

That hour break for me, was lunch. I told the wife, I should have gone this year. I actually haven't been in a few years, never saw the R10 run, would love to see the R15 and the Peugeot.
Too bad the BMWs are having so many probs..... I have missed those guys (with PTG and Schnizter [sp?])
Wonder what happened to Dyson?

Sounds like the Mazdas both lost engines.

Last year, Peugeot had the best car for Le mans racing...but due to their too bad race management, they lost the chanpionship and also Le Mans race!!!!
This year, Audi has a new car...hope Peugeot will finaly win Le Mans.
For me these cars are really nice, compared to F1 or champ car.

ZZZZZ.......zzzzzzz
Did anyone here if the ALMS is doing way with the GT class.... never been much of sustained class with entries (I'm not complaining, I liked it). This is the last time the Vettes will run in that class and are moving to GT2. That should be interesting. I assume Pratt and Miller will still be the team with heavy OE support with Fehan behing them. I hope it won't just be LG Motorsports..... never been impressed with his efforts even when he was running Trans Am. I haven't searched, but I would to see pics of what they are bringing to the table.
Anyone seen the Audi GT2 entry? I am not sure when it will debut, but it looks frickin cool.

I am so detached from the series as compared to what I used to be. I was also disappointed to see no Porsche and no Penske in LMP2...... I don't know why they bailed. Anyone else know?
I used to say there aint much to carburetors, tube chassis', turning left and 500 miles........ to me it is all about machine that can sustain 12 or 24 hours at speed, human fatigue/endurance, weather/elements, and short of F1, technology. Those are the things that impress me. Sorry Scr8p.

With Audi is it more like utter domination...... Although I saw the Bentleys at Sebring and Le Mans myself and they were awesome machines.
These are the Audi's that I really like. They were great to watch.

it's not that i don't like sports car racing....... i do. but it will ALWAYS get turned off to watch any type of nascar, drag, or dirt race. they have the level of competition, the close door to door racing i want to see. sports cars car racing just doesn't give it to me.

True, my dad thinks Busch Light is "good" beer. I can sympathize with your shortcomings, Jason.
Jay, I never saw the killer Audis in their heyday in person, but I was lucky enough to have Audi press access at the 1999 Montery Historics event at Laguna Seca where Audi & Auto Union were featured. Everything from the Silver Arrows to the fire breathing IMSA and Trans Am cars were on the track. Spectacular.
Porsche is not the only manufacturer to pull out of ALMS—Audi's factory efforts are done after Sebring.
